What do you need to clean your Puffco?
Cleaning your Puffco Peak Pro is very simple and require only a few things;
• Isopropyl alcohol
• Cotton Swabs
• Container
Take Pro Apart
The first step in the cleaning is to remove all the Peak Pro pieces and assess how much cleaning does it need. The first thing to do is removing the glass from the top. The next step is giving the atomizer a counterclockwise turn until it loosens and then removes it from the base.
Cleaning Process
The cleaning can be done by two methods- light cleaning or deep cleaning. For light cleaning, take the cotton swabs and clean the gold connection pins on the atomizer and on the base to ensure the proper connection. Also, use the cotton swabs to clean the base and atomizer’s air path to remove any residue on them.
Our research found out that taking the device apart and soaking it in the isopropyl alcohol is the best way to clean the whole device. So, fill the bubbler with rubbing alcohol and shake it to lose the residue from inside for deeper cleaning. Soak the bubbler into the isopropyl alcohol and leave it for some time. Once it is clean, wash it with fresh water and leave it to dry. Now submerge the entire atomizer in the isopropyl alcohol for 30 minutes. The alcohol will change its color as you soak the atomizer. Rinse it with warm water and leave it to dry.
Put Back Together
Now that the cleaning part is over assemble back the device. Screw the atomizer back onto the base, bubble on top of it, and you are good to go!
Lastly, the Burn off Part
To finish the cleaning process, the user needs to run the quick burn off. Turn on the Puffco Pro and set the highest temperature setting. Let the device run the full cycle. Do this a few times before you start your actual session!
Tips for Cleaning
