No-weld construction means the banger is fashioned from a single continuous piece of quartz with no fusion point between the bucket and the neck. This eliminates the weld seam, which is the most structurally vulnerable area of a multi-piece banger and the most common location for cracks to develop from repeated thermal expansion and contraction. No-weld bangers are generally more durable and produce cleaner airflow.

The flat top edge on this banger is compatible with a range of carb cap styles. A bubble or ball carb cap with a diameter at or slightly above 25mm will sit effectively over the opening and create the airflow restriction needed for low-temperature dabbing. Cold-start dabbing involves loading concentrate into the unheated bucket and then applying the torch after the cap is in place. The opaque quartz bottom on this banger is particularly well-suited for cold starts because it heats from the bottom up and reaches vaporization temperature relatively quickly. Monitor the formation of vapor inside the bucket to gauge readiness and reduce the torch once vapor begins to form.
