Both the Pivot and the Proxy are portable Puffco concentrate devices, but they serve different use cases. The Pivot is a pen-sized, pocketable dab pen built for discreet, on-the-go sessions. Puffco Pivot haptic feedback when the dab is ready is a small thing that makes a real difference, no more staring at an LED trying to guess when to inhale. Just wait for the buzz.
Pivot chamber is a replaceable part and Puffco is upfront that it lasts 1 to 3 months depending on use. Replaced mine at 7 weeks of daily use, flavor came straight back with the new one.
Own both the Pivot and the Puffco Proxy Kit and use them differently. Proxy is better for home sessions and gives more control over the experience with different glass options. Pivot wins on every portability metric, fits in a pocket where the Proxy needs a bag. Vapor quality is closer than I expected, Pivot at blue setting versus Proxy at low is genuinely comparable on flavor. Battery on the Pivot runs shorter than the Proxy but the faster charge time on the Pivot mostly makes up for it. For anything outside the house I grab the Pivot without thinking. For a couch session at home the Proxy is still the pick.
