PUFFCO PIVOT: HOW TO USE
- Power On the Device: Press the power button 5 times rapidly to turn on your Puffco Pivot. The LED light bar will illuminate to confirm the device is powered on.
- Select Your Temperature: Press the power button to cycle through the four temperature settings:
- 500°F – White LED (lowest temp, best flavor)
- 520°F – Green LED (medium-low)
- 540°F – Blue LED (medium-high)
- 585°F – Red LED (highest temp, bigger clouds)
- Load Your Concentrate: Remove the quick-release silicone mouthpiece to access the chamber. Using the included loading tool, place a small amount (rice-grain size) of wax concentrate into the 3D ceramic chamber. Reattach the mouthpiece securely.
- Start the Heating Process: Double-press the power button to begin heating. The LED light bar will animate to show heating progress.
- Wait for Ready Signal: After approximately 20 seconds, the device will vibrate to indicate it has reached your selected temperature and is ready to use.
- Begin Your Session: Inhale slowly and steadily through the silicone mouthpiece. The session lasts approximately 60 seconds. For extended sessions, triple-press the power button to activate Boost Mode, which adds 15 seconds and increases temperature by 18°F.
- Power Off: When finished, press the power button 5 times rapidly to turn off the device.

Pivot chamber is a replaceable part and Puffco is upfront that it lasts 1 to 3 months depending on use. Replaced mine at 7 weeks of daily use, flavor came straight back with the new one.
Own both the Pivot and the Puffco Proxy Kit and use them differently. Proxy is better for home sessions and gives more control over the experience with different glass options. Pivot wins on every portability metric, fits in a pocket where the Proxy needs a bag. Vapor quality is closer than I expected, Pivot at blue setting versus Proxy at low is genuinely comparable on flavor. Battery on the Pivot runs shorter than the Proxy but the faster charge time on the Pivot mostly makes up for it. For anything outside the house I grab the Pivot without thinking. For a couch session at home the Proxy is still the pick.
Puffco Pivot boost mode adds 15 seconds and bumps the temp which is exactly what I need to finish off a loaded chamber.
Puffco Pivot with the bubbler attachment (sold separately) through a water piece in white mode produces the thickest clouds I have gotten from anything pocket-sized. The $60 bubbler attachment is worth it if you have the budget.
