Picked up the Arizer XQ2 eighteen months ago and have used it almost every day since. Whip at 195C with fan assist is my go-to for solo sessions, balloon with the cloud bowl at 445C for when people come over. Heat soak takes about 5 minutes for best results and I just use that time to grind and prep, becomes part of the routine. Air filter needed changing at about the 12-month mark, took 2 minutes and the airflow improved immediately. Glass is the only real vulnerability on this machine, borosilicate is fragile if you drop it and its not covered under warranty, so the Tuff BowlGrips are not optional. Ceramic heater still going strong with no loss in performance after 18 months of daily use, lifetime warranty on that element is the kind of backing that makes sense for a daily driver. Best desktop I have owned at any price.
XQ2 fan on the lowest speed filling a bag is quiet enough that nobody in the next room notices. That matters more than I expected for a home desktop.
Let the Arizer XQ2 heat soak for 5 minutes before your first bag and the difference in vapor quality is immediately obvious.
Cracked my flavor bowl dropping it on the bathroom tile and Arizer confirmed glass is not covered under warranty. Replacement was $12 from Arizer directly so it wasnt a disaster but worth knowing.
XQ2 bags fill slower than a Volcano but I paid a fraction of the price so that trade-off makes complete sense.
