The banger in this kit uses a 14mm male joint, one of the most common sizes for dab rigs. It is designed to seat securely into any 14mm female joint water pipe or dab rig. If your rig has a different joint size, a glass adapter can be used to ensure a proper fit.

A 45-degree banger angle works best with dab rigs that have an angled or tilted joint, keeping the bucket level so concentrates pool correctly at the bottom. This orientation also makes it easier to reach the bucket with a dab tool and apply a carb cap without stretching. It is the standard angle for many beaker-style and straight-neck rigs.

4mm thick quartz walls hold heat significantly longer than thinner 2mm or 3mm alternatives, allowing for extended low-temperature dab sessions without reheating. The added mass also improves resistance to thermal shock, reducing the risk of cracking from rapid temperature changes. This thickness is widely regarded as the sweet spot between heat retention and overall weight.

The bubble carb cap seals the top of the banger bucket, restricting airflow and creating a low-pressure environment inside. This lower pressure converts concentrates into vapor at lower temperatures, preserving terpene flavor and preventing harsh, burnt hits.
