The faceted diamond point bottom replaces the standard flat dish found on most terp slurper bangers. The multi-faceted geometry of the diamond point base increases the total surface area exposed to torch heat, allowing the dish to absorb and retain more thermal energy per heating cycle. This results in longer effective heat soak time during your dab, which supports lower temperature sessions with slower, more controlled vaporization of concentrates.

The seamless no-weld construction means the joint is formed from a single piece of quartz rather than two separate sections bonded together at a weld point. Weld points can be structural weak spots that are prone to cracking under repeated thermal stress. A seamless joint heats more evenly along its length and is less likely to develop fractures over time. This construction also produces a cleaner visual aesthetic with no visible seam at the neck-to-joint transition.

Heat should be applied only to the bottom dish, specifically the diamond point base at the very bottom of the lower stem. Apply your butane torch flame to this zone and allow the heat to distribute up into the column. Avoid directing the flame at the central column or upper bucket of the banger where any terp beads or inserts are seated, as concentrated direct heat in those areas can cause thermal shock and crack the quartz.

This banger is compatible with standard terp slurper marble sets, which typically include a marble carb cap, a terp pill, and a marble insert. The marble cap rests on top of the open bucket to create airflow restriction. Terp pills and marble inserts drop into the lower chamber and spin with the incoming vortex airflow. This banger features a 14mm male joint at a 90 degree angle. It is designed for dab rigs and water pipes with a 14mm female joint. The 90 degree configuration pairs with most inline rigs, recyclers, and banger hangers where the joint exits the rig at a perpendicular angle. Confirm the joint size and gender of your rig before purchasing.

After each session, swab the interior of the dish and column with a cotton swab while the banger is still warm to remove residual oil before it carbonizes. For thorough cleaning, soak the banger in high-concentration isopropyl alcohol for 20 to 30 minutes to dissolve built-up residue in the bottom slits and diamond facets.
