A terp slurper banger has a lower dish tray at the base with angled slits cut into the neck above it. When concentrate is loaded into the bottom dish and the banger is capped, inhaling creates a vortex of air that draws the melted concentrate upward through the slits and into the heated column. This constant movement keeps the concentrate in contact with hot quartz throughout the session, maximizing vaporization efficiency.

The no-weld design means the entire banger, including the dish, column, bucket, and neck, is formed from a single piece of quartz. This eliminates the weld seam that would otherwise exist between the bucket and neck, which is the area most prone to cracking from thermal stress. No-weld terp slurpers also tend to produce better airflow through the column because there is no seam to disrupt the internal pathway.

This banger is compatible with terp slurper marble sets, terp pills, and hanging pillar inserts. A marble cap placed over the beveled top edge creates the airflow restriction needed to activate the vortex inside the column. Terp pills or a marble insert placed inside the column can help distribute heat and stir concentrate as it is drawn upward through the slitted base.

This banger has a 14mm male joint at a 90-degree angle. It requires a dab rig with a 14mm female joint oriented at 90 degrees. This is the most common joint size and angle found on standard dab rigs, mini rigs, and recycler rigs on the market.

Concentrate should be loaded into the bottom dish tray at the base of the banger, not into the upper bucket. The dish is the heated area that initiates vaporization. Always apply torch heat directly to the bottom dish and allow the upper bucket to heat indirectly. Avoid applying direct flame to the upper column or bucket where marble inserts are located, as extreme localized heating in that area can cause thermal shock and cracking.

Allow the banger to cool completely, then soak the entire piece in isopropyl alcohol to dissolve residual concentrate in the dish, slitted base, and column. A narrow cotton swab or pipe cleaner can be used to reach the interior of the column and the slits at the base. Rinse with warm water and allow to dry fully before the next use. Regular cleaning after each session reduces the buildup that requires more intensive soaking.
