Honeybee Herb Beehive Quartz Banger – 90°

The only functional difference between the two configurations is the joint angle. The 90-degree version is designed for dab rigs with a 90-degree female joint, which is the most common configuration on straight-neck glass rigs. The 45-degree version is built for beaker-base and bubble-base rigs with an angled downstem. Both versions share the same blender-style bucket geometry, GE214 quartz construction, and 20mm outer diameter.

The 40mm bowl height refers to the total height of the central chamber from the base dish to the top edge. This generous chamber height provides additional space between the concentrate loading area and the banger opening, which reduces the chance of concentrate reaching the neck during enthusiastic use. The taller chamber also gives more room for vapor to accumulate before being inhaled, which can contribute to larger and more satisfying hits.

The Beehive is well-suited for both. The wide base dish can accommodate larger concentrate loads, while the vortex airflow created by the slits ensures that even smaller amounts placed on the dish are drawn up through the chamber efficiently. Because concentrate is vaporized from the dish up through the center rather than in a flat bucket, waste is minimized regardless of load size.

Yellow Line bangers use the same GE214 quartz material as Black Line but feature a standard two-piece weld connecting the bucket and neck. Black Line bangers feature a full seamless weld, meaning bucket and neck are formed from a single piece of quartz with no weld point. The seamless construction offers superior structural integrity and cleaner heat distribution. Both lines are FDA and Prop 65 compliant.

Heat the base dish and the central chamber evenly all the way around rather than focusing the torch on one area. Even heating ensures consistent temperature across the full vaporization surface. Honeybee Herb recommends using a butane torch rather than propane for best results and to maximize the lifespan of the quartz. Allow the banger to cool to your preferred temperature before loading concentrate.
