My Extreme Q sits on the coffee table and nobody who visits knows what it is. Blue LED glow and remote control make it look like some kind of audio equipment.
Bought the Extreme Q as my first desktop vape two years ago and use it three or four times a week. Ceramic heater is still going strong, no degradation in heat-up time or vapor quality. Replaced two cyclone bowl screens over two years, bought replacements from Arizer for a few dollars. For anyone on the fence, this is the most reliable machine I have owned at any price.
Looked at the Volcano, looked at the Plenty, bought the Extreme Q instead and have zero regrets. Whip at 200C with elbow packing gives me vapor quality I genuinely did not expect for $135.
Ceramic heating element on the Extreme Q has a lifetime warranty which is something I have never seen on any other vaporizer.
Picked up the Extreme Q three years ago as a budget alternative to the Volcano and have used it almost daily since. Heat up is about 2 minutes to my usual 205C, then I draw through the whip with a packed elbow screen and the vapor is thick and clean every time. Balloon mode works well for group sessions but you have to cap the mouthpiece end with your finger since there is no valve, which took a bit of getting used to. Glass parts cracked once over three years, not covered under warranty, but the replacement elbow cost me about $8 from Arizer directly. Ceramic heating element is under lifetime warranty and has never given me a single problem. Fan on the lowest speed is quiet enough for late night sessions without waking anyone up. Hands down the best $135 I have spent on a piece of gear.
