The scraper is used to consolidate and collect this kief from the chamber walls and bottom surface. It can also be used to scoop ground herb from the storage compartment. The scraper is sized to fit inside the chamber diameter of the 2.5-inch grinder.

After each session, brush herb debris from the diamond-shaped teeth and the holes in the grinding plate using a small stiff brush. Disassemble all four pieces by separating the magnet-held lid and unscrewing the lower threaded sections. Soak the aluminum pieces in isopropyl alcohol for 20 to 30 minutes to dissolve resin, brush away loosened residue, rinse with warm water, and dry completely before reassembling. Treat the sifting screen by soaking rather than pressing on the mesh. Use the included scraper to harvest kief from the pollen chamber before soaking. The exterior design on the OBJex grinder is applied to the aluminum surface and is alcohol-resistant under normal cleaning conditions.
