After each session, use a thin cotton swab soaked in isopropyl alcohol to clean the interior of the column and reach the base dish through the airflow slits. A pipe cleaner can help access the interior column length. For a thorough clean, soak the banger in 91% to 99% isopropyl alcohol for 20 to 30 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
