DESIGN AND FEATURES

Design and Features

Pax 3- Pax 3 comes with one of the most striking designs in the market. The button-free aluminium shell on the outside and a bright petal at the front make it one of the most distinctive-looking dry herb vaporizer designs on the market. No-button the device means the user must rely on the motion controls or the smartphone app for the settings and functions. This seems a little inconvenient for the people, but it is convenient for most people as there are more methods of control than the DaVinci IQ2. There are multiple ways to control and change the device’s settings, making it a standout feature of Pax 3. Also, the smartphone app compatibility makes it one of the best in the market as it has a lot of functionality to offer.  Different mode options make the device stunning as these sets of modes increase the temperature as you vape.

DaVinci IQ 2- DaVinci IQ2 is an update from the original IQ and offers a few changes. Still, the most significant difference is the dial on the bottom of the device and regulates airflow. It is one of the vaporizer’s best features as it offers the like of customization that no other vape can touch. The new brushed aluminium surface gives a nice look, and the device controls most of the functions. one of the most standing out features is the dial on the bottom of the device regulating airflow. None of the other vaporizers in the market offer anything close to it.

Smartphone App

One thing to remember is that the smartphone app is not available in Apple’s IOS store anymore, and there is no news about if it will be available again. However, if your app is already on your phone, you are fine, but you won’t get any updates. Moreover, this is not the case with Android devices that can receive updates from time to time and are available on the google app store. If you own an iPhone and you never downloaded the app, it’s not your lucky time, at least for now. Nevertheless, IQ2 has an advantage over Pax3 as most of its functions are on the device, and Pax 3 doesn’t have this option.

Pax 3- Pax 3 has one of the best smartphone apps for vapes. The app can control dynamic modes and temperature. The app’s menu allows the users to order the replacement parts and help users look for authorized sellers. It also features various videos on the use and maintenance of the device.

DaVinci IQ 2– The app got an upgrade from the previous version, and this latest version has the dosage control option for the users. The feature is not very popular among the vape enthusiast as it involves inputting a lot of data, but the company trying a new feature is appreciative. Besides, the app allows users to enjoy customization, precise temperature control, and Smart Path Mode.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Pax 3- Cleaning Pax 3 is difficult because the vapor path, mouthpiece, and oven need to be cleaned separately. Most of the cleaning accessories come with the kit, and you need to clean the parts after using them for a while. So, one positive is you need not clean it that often.

DaVinci IQ 2- IQ 2 is one of the most high maintenance vapes in the industry. All the components of the device need to be cleaned separately using the cotton swab and alcohol. There are several parts like flavor chamber that are physically gotten out to clean. Also, they take a much longer time to clean than other vapes.

Compatibility with Wax

Both Pax 3 and DaVinci IQ 2 are compatible with wax with concentrate pads. However, the expert advice not to use the wax with these devices because none of these devices can reach a high temperature to vaporize the wax. Also, cleaning the wax residue is a huge task. So if you want to vaporize the wax concentrate, then get a vape pen!

Which one is a Better option?

The question is tricky since both of the vapes are leading the dry herb vaporizer industry. Both have a price difference but offer a high-quality device, but the market target differs.  The first thing is the price difference; IQ 2 is available for $295 and Pax 3 for $249.99. So if you are looking for a luxurious vaporizer, the IQ2 is your choice. However, if you are looking for an affordable vaporizer with a premium experience, Pax 3 is the right choice.

Finally, if you are a tech-head, IQ 2 should be your top choice. The app is modern with the latest feature of dose control. You can also access a lot of functions through the app, making it more practical than the other vapes. On the other hand, Pax 3 app is surprisingly doing well, but it is nowhere close to IQ 2. In the end, both devices are good in their way, and the last choice will always depend on the vaping enthusiast’s choice!
